The Securing Networks with Cisco Firepower Next Generation Firewall (SSNGFW) v1.0 course shows you how to deploy and use Cisco Firepower® Threat Defense system. This hands-on course gives you knowledge and skills to use and configure Cisco® Firepower Threat Defense technology, beginning with initial device setup and configuration and including routing, high availability, Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) to Cisco Firepower Threat Defense migration, traffic control, and Network Address Translation (NAT). You will learn how to implement advanced Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) and Next-Generation Intrusion Prevention System (NGIPS) features, including network intelligence, file type detection, network-based malware detection, and deep packet inspection. You will also learn how to configure site-to-site VPN, remote-access VPN, and SSL decryption before moving on to detailed analysis, system administration, and troubleshooting.
ONTAP 9.7 Cluster Administration (ONTAP9ADM)
This three-day, instructor-led course uses lecture and hands-on exercises to teach the basic administration tasks of an ONTAP 9.7 cluster. You use the cluster shell and ONTAP System Manager to manage storage and network resources. ONTAP Cluster Administration is an intermediate course in a comprehensive learning path for NetApp customers, partners, and employees. This course is generally taught with the two-day ONTAP Data Protection course.
ONTAP 9.7 Data Protection Administration (DATAPROT9)
This course introduces some of the key concepts and techniques for protecting data on NetApp® ONTAP® systems. You learn about the different data protection solutions that are integrated in ONTAP software. You also learn about the tools for managing ONTAP data protection features. In the hands-on exercises, you use ONTAP System Manager and the CLI to execute key data protection tasks. This course is updated for ONTAP 9.7.
FortiGate Security - NSE 4
In this 3-day class, you will learn how to use basic FortiGate features, including security profiles.
In interactive labs, you will explore firewall policies, user authentication,SSL VPN, Dial-up IPsec VPN, and how to protect your network using security profiles such as IPS, antivirus, web filtering, application control, and more. These administrative fundamentals will provide you with a solid understanding of how to integrate basic network security.
FortiGate Infrastructure - NSE 4
In this two-day class, you will learn how to use advanced FortiGate networking and security.
Topics include features commonly applied in complex or larger enterprise or MSSP networks, such as advanced routing, transparent mode, redundant infrastructure, site-to-site IPsec VPN, SSO, web proxy, and diagnostics.
FortiAnalyzer - NSE 5
In this 1-day class, you will learn how to use FortiAnalyzer. You will explore setup, registering supported devices and securing communications, managing logs and archives, and configuring both predefined and customized reports.
This course provides a solid understanding of how to integrate FortiAnalyzer into your network awareness infrastructure.
FortiManager - NSE 5
In this 2-day class, you will learn the fundamentals of using FortiManager for centralized network administration of many FortiGate devices. Example use cases include large enterprise and carrier networks. You will explore various deployment strategies which include single or multiple ADOMs, policy packages, shared objects, & provisioning FortiManager as a local FortiGuard Distribution Server for your managed firewalls.
FortiMail - NSE 6
In this 3-day class, you will learn how to use FortiMail.
In interactive labs, you will explore FortiMail's role as a specialized device, and how its features extend beyond FortiGate email filtering to provide both high-performance and in depth security for business-critical communications.
You will analyze MMS and email security challenges that administrators from small businesses to carriers face. These administrative fundamentals will provide you with a solid understanding of where and how to deploy and troubleshoot FortiMail, including FortiSandbox integration.
FortiWeb - NSE 6
In this 3-day class, you will learn to deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Fortinet's web application firewall: FortiWeb.
Instructors explain key concepts of web application security, and lead lab exercises where you will explore protection and performance features. Through traffic and attack simulations with real web applications in the lab, you will learn how to distribute load from virtual servers to real servers while enforcing logical parameters, inspecting flow, and securing HTTP session cookies.
FortiGate Enterprise Firewall - NSE 7
In this 3-day class, you will learn how to isolate and fix the most common issues in networks with FortiGate.
